The simplicity of function uses the occupant’s own weight to control the seating position. As you recline and stop, the chair will stay in that position. There is no tension control, as the weight of the occupant rides up a ten degree incline, using gravity as the resistance and friction as the position control. There is only one control on the chair which adjusts height and locks the seat in one of five positions.
